“Since Time Cannot Be Held” YAGER CHOIR

Performance by YAGER choir in Beaverbrook Art Gallery! Formed in 2023, YAGER is a Chinese community choir of over 40 members from Fredericton and Moncton and was created by musicians from NCCAC. The choir primarily focuses on performing traditional Chinese art songs and folk music while also exploring classical and various musical genres.

  • Amazed Audiences in Mississauga

    At the Mississauga Chinese New Year Gala, the largest and highest-quality event in Canada, Chen Fei's elegant yet unrestrained performance stunned the audience! She and four young musicians from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and mainland China, all from University of Toronto Faculty of Music, performed "Galloping Horses" in a perfect string quartet and erhu ensemble to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse.

  • The Melody Travels Through the Cities

    During the Spring Festival of the Fire Horse, CHEN Fei collaborated with local musicians to perform at New Year's Eve Galas in different cities, repeatedly bringing the atmosphere to a climax with her beautiful melodies and winning continuous applause and screams.
